Nichi-jō - meaning common or everyday in Japanese, refers to the everyday character of the scenes depicted during the Artist’s six year stay in Japan. Ideas of fleeting, transient moments captured in the life of the ever-changing city of Tokyo; finding beauty in common, everyday surroundings is the basis for this collection of works.
